Bazi Energy Shot comes in the common two oz. bottle, but the mold of the bottle is fairly unique. It doesn't narrow as it goes up, and instead stays consistent. The label is all red with no background or pattern, and it features quite a bit of white text; enough to busy the look. Figuring out the name or purpose isn't difficult, however the design just looks crowded and there's a real absence of excitement. Ultimately, it fails to visually provide the consumer with something new or interesting and feels as if it is likely to blend blandly with other shots on the shelf.
Given off is the distinct scent of chewable children's cold medicine, which despite bringing back memories, doesn't smell appealing. The taste, thankfully, is a lot more appetizing. It begins powdery sweet with a pleasant fake orange flavour that focuses intensely on sugary artificiality instead of naturalism. There's then a medium strength tartness that's entirely separate from the orange, and tastes as if it's wholly present for obscuring any chemical bitterness. I say that because there's weak evidence of the pungency underneath the tartness, and luckily the evidence stays weak. With the experience continuing, a guava and cherry braid arises, and the two welcome the prior tartness and powdery sugariness. The cocktail has an obvious and enjoyable tang from both fruits, which gives good depth and works well with a following resurrection of the earlier orange. The prior, though, is short lived and ends swiftly, but as it finishes so does the experience. Overall, Bazi's taste was surprisingly pleasing and clean leaving.
Each bottle contains: caffeine(eighty mg), inositol, biotin, vitamin A, C, E, and decent levels of several B vitamins. I felt mildly energized but increasingly alert for two hours steady, and there were slight jitters and no crash. In the end, Bazi is a sufficient overall energy shot who's taste is easily its highlight, which isn't something I usually say about energy shots.
