Jamba Crisp Apple Energy Drink Review

Jamba Crisp Apple's can would certainly be more appropriate if the product was anything but an energy drink, as it creates an improper childish feel. This doesn't mean that drinks that are much juice and natural are all ill suited, but the way the company approached proclaiming these qualities is, for the most part, poorly organized. For instance, while I much appreciate the surprising lack of text, there's too much graphical clutter that distracts gravely from these supposed selling points. And in all honesty, the three fruit wedges are a bit much, especially since the existing aerial image of an entire apple is center of the design.

The flavour is wholly authentic to the fruit that's boldly displayed on the can. The apple has a strong pulp taste as well as a slight cinnamon spicing that's mild and entirely complementing. The apple dominating the flavour is of the golden delicious variety, and it has an appropriately pronounced sweetness. But the just former apple isn't the first that you taste, which happens to be the similarly named red delicious variety. It withholds a distinct robustness that's noticed immediately during your native sip, but after this acquainting the crimson yummy decays inwardly and from then on it feels hollow. The golden apple variety originates from the infundibular moment, and it proceeds to sprout outward as its coating quickly ruins completely from taste. The flavour bursts as it engages in physical contact with your tongue, though the explosion isn't overwhelming nor does it feel at all alien from any other apple experience. There's an understated sourness to the body of the beverage, in addition to a gentle tartness, however the two only act timidly initially; they both grow more steely as the flavour affair progresses. Thanks to the use of puree, the fluid has a thin degree of texture that brings great dimension to the experience. Overall, while it's not the best I've had, Jamba Crisp Apple is apt to tower over some equivalently flavoured drinks.

For around an hour and a half I felt energized slightly and was jitter free. There wasn't any crash, either, which isn't disconcerting given that there's only eighty milligrams of caffeine inside. Overall, for an energy drink Jamba Crisp Apple excites me very little, despite its great taste, and aside from that there's truly few reasons to pay a dollar fifty plus for a can.

  1. I had just a sip of this disgustingly sweet and fake-tasting drink and felt sick to my stomach all day. I will never ever buy this drink, I just took it because they were handing them out for free on the street. Disgusting!
