Beaver Buzz Core

Beaver Buzz Core easily has the best can out of the line so far. The metallic orange may not sound too appealing, but it sure looks it. It fits the anger vibe the beaver gives off, and its bright quality makes it jump out among a lot of the other energy drinks available. While the actual design is essentially the same as previous cans, Core's can truly works the design to its full potential.

Core is Beaver Buzz's attempt at breathing new life into the classic Red Bull taste, but they don't quite succeed. It begins sweet and bubbly with apple as its base. The apple is strong, initially, but soon a shot of lightly syrupy vanilla appears and covers most of the apple. The vanilla continues to dominate the flavour, only leaving soon after the experience ends. There's an undertone of grape and bubble gum blended together, and the braid is slightly tart and not too sweet. There's a trace of cranberry that arises at random throughout the flavour, but other than that, there's nothing real unique thing about Core. It's rather lifeless. Even when it finishes there's no bite or anything exciting.

While Core is a shame for line, flavour-wise, the kick was on par with the others. The energy cocktail remains the same;
150mg of caffeine, Taurine, guarana, ginseng, and a variety of B vitamins. For two+ hours I had a good amount of energy, but nothing really spectacular. But at least it didn't end in a crash. Beaver Buzz's slogan is "Dam Good," but in Core's case, a more appropriate slogan is "Dam Disappointing."
