Blink Brisk Blueberry Pomegranate Energy Water Review

The color blue is appropriate for an energy water, helping the logo become the first thing spotted. But the rest of the text is overabundant and often times redundant, with whatever written in white hard to read against its clear bottle. However that is not the only problem here, as the "0 Color... Bubbles.. Fatigue" is clumsy and confusing next to the "only 5 calories."

Blueberry and pomegranates have been represented better elsewhere, but Blink's stab is decent enough. They both lack complexity and are vacant of secondary characteristics, but they play well together and feed off of the other starved of intricacy. They are aptly sweet but it is fairly artificial, exampled by a synthetic sugar aftertaste after each sip. The fruits are also tart, appropriate for both and thankfully without the problem the saccharinity suffered from. It works well considering the drink's watery absence of carbonation, a decently strength taste that sadly leans more on the side of bland than brisk. There was no trouble finishing the two servings of Adam's ale, and even without sugar it was superior to the recent and not so Perfect Peach.

Each bottle contains only taurine and 150 milligrams of caffeine, with a resulting kick of three hours. In the end, my opinion is split on Blink Brisk Blueberry Pomegranate, a middling beverage that is not what I look for in my energy drink.
