Andale! Rapido! Energy Shot Review

An unprepossessing shrinking of its sixteen ounce siblings, Rapido looks like a generic brand shot from a foreign store. The guy is awkwardly posed and hideous, with text in stock font with haste placement. The label makes an amusing error however, claiming this was "canned under authority," when it was obviously bottled.

My taste buds hurled at the concentrated Red Bull scent, however both of the two ounces of brazen unoriginality are quick and painless. Four grams of real sugar, aided by some artificial, give this caramel colored concoction fantastic honesty with its sweetness, although any actual flavor is hard to find. The viscous sap absently resembles what it is to the nose to the tongue, with vague suggestions of vanilla only present. It is tiresomely gummy with very little tartness. Perhaps the last few drops expose something along the lines of blue raspberry and white grape, but now is hardly the time to start tasting like something other than corn syrup.

In addition to the aforementioned four grams of sugar, there are: fifteen calories, caffeine, guarana, inositol, taurine, ginseng, B vitamins, and vitamin C. There certainly is a lot under the cap, and the buzz lasted a surprising three hours from it all. In the end, Andale! Rapido! is not anywhere near as exciting as the two explanation marks insinuate.

Andale Energy Drink Review

Nearly identical to the diet version reviewed weeks ago, Andale regular does not look quite as decent. Now the can is checkered, breaking the flow of the text and visuals, resulting in a stiff and corporate design.

Each sip of this forecasted Red Bull clone is analogously creamy to its low carb cousin, however everything here tastes a little less disgusting. The obligatory apple and vanilla are not as medicinal and are kinder to both each other and to the palate, furthermore featuring a far less astringent sourness. It is thick in the mouth, crawling down the throat like honey. It is also sweet like honey, probably much more so, but peaking at a fairly tolerable level. Overall, Andale is an infecund imitation who tastes only slightly less awful than its synthetically sweetened sister.

For three hours my caffeine craving was satisfied, thanks to a cocktail of: caffeine, vitamin C, ginseng, guarana, inositol, taurine, B vitamins, and L-carnitine. On the whole, I would not ever drink Andale again; even if I was sent several additional cans, they would just be left to expire.

Andale Lo-Carb Energy Drink Review

Thick with heritage and football inspiration, Andale! Lo-Carb is obviously not selling itself to a Caucasian from New England. But even so, the can billows with personality and reads well even with visual excitement, although the cartoon soccer player is drawn without grace and integrated with wide, ugly seams.

Red Bull is tasted but with heavy notes of grossly creamy vanilla with a deep sweetness. Apple is present but is not welcomed, a super sour lab-born abomination to the fruit local of my denizenship. It works against the aforementioned milky vanillin, a bitter brawl of flavors slightly bitter themselves. The sugar profile is impressive thanks to six grams of sugar, but each sip is syrupy and gummy and never washes away. The drink just keeps getting sweeter, and you would bet on hundreds of calories in each can, not just thirty. I guess such a decent saccharinity is a good thing, but it is wasted on a drink this unrelentingly unimaginative and brutally boring.

Each can contains: caffeine, taurine, ginseng, guarana, B vitamins, inositol, and vitamins C. There is all the usual suspects and all in decent quantities, but the kick lasted only about three hours. Overall, I honestly would take thirst and lethargicness over experiencing Andale! Lo-Carb again.
