Talon Blood Punch Sugar Free Energy Drink Review

The transition to 'sans sucra' comes without any sacrifices, and even the obligatory addition of bare aluminum looks fantastic despite its usual cheap quality. The quite literally trademark black burning bird is great contrast, and the liberal peppering of blood red ties the visuals to the flavor.

The regular version was too corporate a punch, a boring experience without depth and with zero creativity. This diet interpretation is an incredible sugar free simile to the original, equally lethargic a brew who only passes by being impressively sweetened. There is still not much of the promised blood orange flavor, only a soft citrus semblance lost within a cliche cocktail of cherries and guava. It is not a smooth drink, rather a roughly bubbly broth of gruff fruits with a strident stitching. This is a dull drink who sips sluggishly without enthusiasm, and although certainly not a bad drink, you cannot help your lust for much more.

Each can contains: guarana, caffeine (160mg), taurine, some B vitamins, inositol, and ginseng. The buzz lasted some time under four hours, with surprising jitters though without a crash. In a pinch Talon Sugar Free Blood Punch would do, and I would pick it up over the original calorie bomb any day, but in the end it is just too unremarkable.

Talon Blood Punch Energy Drink Review

Black and red is a classic color combination, working well here with the yellow fiery fowl. The sanguinolent name may seem a bit much but is only based off of the blood orange, the more specific of the many fruits promised with the punch. Otherwise there is not much to say, being clean and easy to read but adopting a rather typical "hardcore" look.

Pouring out a dark crimson, any thicker and Roger Corman will be buying gallons for his next CGI cheese-fest. The flavor is all too ordinary however, a fair punch who offers absolutely nothing new. The fruit medley consists of mostly cherry, soured indefinitely and acutely sweetened. Lime looms in vaguely, giving the harsh acidity some dimension. The predominate is elaborated by notes of guava and complicated by hints of orange, the latter a stock citrus taste not particularly honest to the blood variety. Overall, the are numberless energy punches and Talon's stab is bloody average.

The average kick averaged three hours thanks to: caffeine (160mg), inositol, B vitamins, guarana, ginseng, and taurine. All in all, Talon Blood Punch is a shamelessly safe effort from a company I thought was better.

Talon Original Sugar Free Energy Drink Review

Many drinks have a beast basing, or are at least influenced by a certain Monster (pun intended), however "Talon" sounds a world better than naming it after the actual clawed creature. The yellow is an original colour for something either called that or is sugar free, and although blank aluminum is rarely appealing, it works well enough with the blazing black bird.

The flavour is far more original than what the industry feels is the "original" energy drink taste, but it is not an entirely unique one either. The tart experience majored in pineapple and minored in guava and grapefruit, taking some classes about melon and lemon. It is a just weaving of produce, seemingly incomplex on the tongue but yielding a great deal of depth. It has a salient sweetness despite being artificial and only gets stronger, however your last sip boarders on being too saccharine. It is a good tasting alternative to the sugared version, more balanced this time around and a lot easier on the waist.

The buzz lasted three hours, equal to its sugared surrogate but with some slight jitters surprisingly. Each can contains: caffeine (174mg), ginseng, taurine, guarana, B vitamins, and inositol. On the whole, Talon Sugar Free Original is a bit unmemorable, with a flavour often exampled and a can and kick that do not push the boundaries.

Talon Energy Cola Review

Talon Energy Cola is red because of Coke, thanks to the years it spent cementing the colour with the flavour until the two where completely complementary. Thankfully though, the can actually looks quite good even with this sort of arranged marriage. There's surely much going on, but there's a grand sense of fluidity, and nothing seems to halt your eyes from moving about softly.

Each sip tastes instantly familiar but is at the same time ever so refined, as the body resembles one that has been shaped and influenced by every pure cola that has ever preceded it. There's a trilogy of citruses to taste, a muddled blend unfortunately, but the otherwise earthy extracts of orange, lime, and lemon, help broaden the central taste. Vanilla is the biggie here, and it's spiked lightly by the appropriate taste of cinnamon. The former is creamy somewhat but nevertheless adequately, and both spices detail all the robustness they should naturally. Both lay upon a complex underground of ginger and cloves, a subterranean braid that raises the mild intensity of the fragrant seasonings. Sweetness is key with this soda species, but there are no concerns here with the delightfully robust yet reserved sugaring that establishes everything desired and required, and succeeding is a roughing of carbonation, one that's pleasingly stern but rightfully so. Overall, Talon Cola's taste is far from the best, or even the most unique, but it achieves praise due to how it remains unremittingly exclusive to its genre.

The kick approximately lasted three hours, thanks to an energy cocktail of: taurine, caffeine(160mg), ginseng, guarana, various B vitamins, and inositol. All in all, Talon Energy Cola is a welcome addition to both the line and energy colas in general, even with its imperfections.

Talon Energy Drink Review

It feels great to finally be reviewing Talon Energy, which is a drink that has alluded me for many years. Its can, though, has never exactly been what has possessed me to locate the beverage, as while it looks completely acceptable, if not rather cool and intimidating, it isn't really anything new. It's got the blackness and simple design of any Monster clone, and the animal inspired name is clearly modeled after Red Bull, however it is one of the less obvious choices I've seen.

The flavour is thankfully more inspirited than any clone of the aforementioned would be. There's a sour green apple taste that cloaks a nether pineapple that is still enabled to sharply influence the flavour even though its strength isn't demanding. Appreciatively relieving from the previous is the refreshing taste of grapefruit, who's strength is as mild as any such drink before it. The pink fleshed citrus advertises a sort of dry tartness to each sip that is longer lasting than the flavour itself, and is especially detected as everything progresses and the bitter skinned fruit decreases from sight. Noticeable now, and acting as a sort of replacement to the former, is the taste of melon, who acknowledges all before it and becomes influenced by them all. This gives the fruit a wildly intricate profile, but it loses its own personality in the process. Appearing next is a braiding of lemon and lime, though the latter is the easily the weakest of the already dismally feeble blend. The two intend to increase depth, and they do, but it's more in the sense of clutter than organized and organic additions. Overall, Talon's taste gives one's palate much to chew on, and while nothing involved is particularly original, the ever moving pace of the experience keeps you from ever being bored.

Each can contains: caffeine(172), taurine, ginseng, guarana, inositol, and a few B vitamins. The kick was rather typical, you know, the usual three hour buzz that we've all encountered so many times. In the end, Talon Energy isn't revolutionary, which is quite obvious considering how little it innovated, but it was wholly enjoyable.
