Red Bull The Amber Edition Strawberry Apricot Sugar Free Energy Drink Review

What an idea Red Bull has here to repurpose their 2022 "Summer Edition," remove the sugar and bam, you have a brand-spanking new release. The can is largely identical, save for some incongruous blue blotches denoting its diet nature, and you have to wonder why there is so much text! Appearing in different fonts, sizes, colors and importance, this is just hard for your eyes to make sense of.

The flavor is a disaster, launching with this ugly acidity that is sour in the way spoiled dairy is, not the way freshly-plucked produce is. Your tongue winces in disgust the second it pours out from the twelve ounce can, looking to the sugar-free sugars for backup perhaps? No no no, sorry, the sucralose and ace-k here has zero compunction about their laziness, sweetening the experience only in the sense that this does not taste like a bunch of random chemicals. As for what this actually tastes like, strawberry might be half of what you read but it is all you get, a miserable impersonation of a summer favorite that displays no sense of momentum, just tumbling out from the thin aluminum walls and dies right there on the spot. Its rotting body is what you are expected to quench your thirst on- yum yum yum.

114 milligrams of caffeine means the buzz fails to satisfy in any meaningful way- yeah I mean sure, taurine, B vitamins, etc., also appear, but remember this: millions do not consume coffee because it contains vitamins. Anyway, Red Bull The Amber Edition Strawberry Apricot Sugar Free sucks.

Red Bull The Summer Edition Strawberry Apricot Energy Drink Review

Red Bull's annual "summer edition" energy drink returns, just in time for spring. The can applies a color scheme more appropriate for an orange or perhaps just the apricot portion of its alleged dual flavor "strawberry apricot," being just a shade different from some of the company's previous potations.

Your first sip is strawberry all the way, a domineering sapor that buries the poor apricot impression beneath an inappropriately sour tang. What makes it so unbefitting, your tongue asks? It has less to do with the acidic appearance and more with the tartness' personality, rocking the palate with the pungency of a turned dairy. Imbibes resemble a carbonated yogurt more so than any energy drink in recent memory, an element expected from a generic or discontinued disaster and not a big-budget Red Bull. Sweetness, thirty eight grams of sugar and glucose, lacks the aptitude to put the acridity behind, creating a crooked cocktail of cacophony.

With 114 milligrams of caffeine, the buzz is only so-so, lasting two hours, maybe more if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Other ingredients include B vitamins and taurine. Overall, Red Bull The Summer Edition Strawberry Apricot is a bad omen to the actual upcoming sunny season.

FRS Apricot Nectarine Energy Drink Review

FRS Apricot Nectarine is the first sugared FRS that's in my possession, and hopefully it will result in an overall better taste. The can is alike the rest of the line, and although I do feel that the black is more complimenting than the previous white was, the use of yellowish orange could potentially inject confusion into the typical consumer's mind, as this and three other varieties share a common colour. And while yes, I do realize that they are identified with separate subnames, the possibility seems probable.

Initially there's a coy sweetness with a enjoyable herbal bitterness that gently touches your taste buds, and soon the flavour blossoms into a fairly robust nectarine taste that's hemmed roughly of mango. The nectarine is balanced appreciatively with the garnishing fruit as well as to the level of sugar the body carries. The mango anomalies into an apricot taste gradually, but it never fully mutates, and the resulting sort of hybrid of the two shadow the beginning nectarine completely. The prior fruits have a solid and appropriate tanginess to their nature bound inspiration. There's then a menial tangerine tinted sweetness that formulates quickly and kisses the base of the prior with grainy lips, but the flavour averts ever feeling hyper sweetened. But thanks to the slight sugary coarse texture, the non carbonated fluid demands pettier sips than I would have preferred. Overall, while only a decent flavour itself, when compared to the previous FRS's, Apricot Nectarine is surprisingly impressive.

FRS Apricot Nectarine doesn't provide a decent boost, which is to be expected. I had less than an hour of jitterish energy, and there wasn't a crash when it end. Each can contains: caffeine(forty eight mg), several B vitamins, vitamin C, and quercetin. All in all, FRS Apricot Nectarine impresses by the line's standards and disappoints by energy drink standards.
