Celsius Orange Energy Drink Review

Celsius Orange comes in a can using the lines older style, which is far too cluttered and busy that somehow it doesn't even touch upon the fact that it's an energy drink. While the lines main draw is its supposed calorie burning property, one of its other functions is increasing energy, which I feel should at least be mentioned, even if it's in the form of a small line, like "energy supplement," towards the bottom rim. But alas, that is not the case, and it may result in energy drinkers completely ignoring Celsius until they hear of its caffeine content of 200mgs or until they accidentally pick up and look at a can.

A light bodied yet vibrant orange launches Celsius Orange's taste. The orange is detailed realistically but it avoids being mistaken for real juice by having a fairly rough texture, thanks to the carbonation. The orange has an understated sweetness which allows a mild tartness to become focused upon. Following the prior fruit is a light tangerine that tries to adopt the tartness but only succeeds in sharing it. The tangerine has only a modest degree of naturalness, namely because of its high level of sweetness that's slightly artificial tasting. The fruits synthetic sweetness isn't obnoxious but it does hurt the drinks overall attempt at authenticity. Partway through the tangerine a slight ginger zest develops. The latter isn't stitched to the fruit but it instead occupies a level below and lasts until the experience ends. The ginger has a bit of an unwelcome organic quality to it that's as mild tasting as the false sugar before it. Overall, Celsius Orange's flavour is more enjoyable than most other diet orange energy drinks I've had in recent memory.

Like those in the line before it, Celsius Orange's ingredient cocktail would be potent for a sixteen oz. drink, let alone a smaller twelve oz. can: caffeine(200mg), vitamin C, guarana, taurine, biotin, and a variety of B vitamins. My energy level raised quickly once I finished the can, and it peaked at three hours until it slowed, where it then lasted another hour or so. Overall, Celsius Orange's price tag of $1.89 is almost completely justified by its good taste and great kick.
