According to its can, her stands for "healthy energy revitalizer," which to me is questionable, as they use the unnatural high fructose corn syrup as a sweetener. Don't get me wrong, I do realize dozens of energy drinks use HFCS's, it's just that they rarely claim to be healthy. Anyway, her's can, like its sugar free sibling, is cleanly simple and while I prefer the darker pink of regular her, it does result in the heavy text being far more visible. The dark pink also makes seeing the basic background graphic hard, however when seen, the pattern doesn't add anything positive.
her's flavour is far more bold and exciting than her sugar free. The taste initially opens with a ginger zest that abruptly thins, permitting a jovially sweet lemon with an authentic sourness to rest above. There's a duplication of the past ginger to whom pinches the flavour and relieves focus off the fruit yet at the same time enhances it. The pinch is sudden and short lived, but produces a mild sting aftereffect that lasts well long after. The embellished lemon continues, now with an increased strength and an impotent pulpiness that enriches more naturalism into the fruit. The pulp collects mostly towards the back of your throat, and it's pleasant even if a bit of a tart sweetness convenes along with it. The fluids carbonation light yet bubbly, and is wholly appropriate with the rest of the experience. Overall, when compared to the sugar free version, her's flavour is certainly worth its 130 calories.
Caffeine, taurine, vitamin C, inositol, ginseng, and several B vitamins are the notable of the ingredients, and the blend does what you'd expect from a drink of its size; a two or so hour kick. I had no jitters, but I did get a mild sugar crash. All in all, her looked and tasted better than her sugar free, both of which were pretty good to begin with.
