Rockstar Recovery Tea & Lemonade Energy Drink Review

Rockstar's conspicuous copy of Monster's successful Rehab Lemonade, this just launched drink confusingly clashes with another variety that was believed to have inspired what inspired this! Disregarding the company's arrogance and ignorance, the can is one disorganized party, but that is sorta the point. This is the anti-Monster with its asymmetrical design and purposely busy look, but not all is right, with all the red outlined white text strugglingly to be seen and all the black giving the other colors a murky look.

Compared to either the company's and Monster's comparable aforementioned attempts in 2010 and 2011 respectively, things are much sweeter with a more artificial lemon interpretation. Sadly both give each sip a synthetic aftertaste, but it is far from the worst we have choked down. There is some complexity in the form of tartness, a tempered but satisfying sourness that is about the only ounce of honesty or realism to be tasted. Hardly refreshing and too saccharine for pre, during or post-exercise potation, this redundant Rockstar release is at best a guilty pleasure. At worst, it is an ugly and unoriginal hodgepodge thick with poor pacing and dispirited tastes.

Each can contains: caffeine (240 milligrams), taurine, milk thistle, ginseng, and B vitamins. The blend provides a stellar boost four hours long at least, however this sort of savior comes far too late to save this unpardonably effete experience.

  1. Sorry to be obnoxious, I'm sure you've heard things like this before, but I would really love to be able to read these reviews and be able to get an idea of what you actually think. I have to have a dictionary nearby to understand half of it, and even once I've translated everything, I can never decide whether you like these things or not. Consider rating everything 1-5 or 1-10 or something like that. I read your reviews to get an idea of what I should buy, but I find that I'm able to get that idea less and less.

  2. I totally get the previous commenter's comment, but I personally found it refreshing that an energy drink review could also be well thought out and well written. This is definitely upper crust writing, maybe not best suited to the majority of folks in the energy drink demographic; but I enjoyed it.

  3. I'm worried about this world if you cannot understand his review.

  4. I'm worried about this review because there are maybe 3 sentences actually talking about the drink and the rest is criticizing the company and can. Rockstar did come out before monster btw.... That being said, maybe actually give us reasons to not like it besides the generic "I'm not satisfied". Why is it a bad preworkout for instance. Something with some substance to it.
