Mati Citrus Healthy Energy Drink Review

More Mati comes to us in the form of a reformulation, among the changes fewer calories (clocking in at forty, five behind the original), slightly more juice, and less caffeine. The can has grown up a bit too, losing its cartoony fruits for a more detailed depiction, but only the watchful eye could really tell the difference.

As a fan of the original, Mati Citrus 2.0 does little fresh with the flavor profile it updates. The slight increase in juice, up two percent from the original thirty, compensates for the few grams less of sugar- this beverage is a smoother sipper, with a less coarse texture and a more energetic effervescence. The problem here? Beneath all this renovation may be a more approachable potable, but where is the creativity of the first one? This is too "me-too" tasting. Do not get me wrong: I would drink Mati Citrus again, no hesitation, but the original's potent idiosyncrasies are lost in twelve ounces of commercialism.

Each can contains 115 milligrams of caffeine, and some vitamin C. Though I applaud them for adding the actual content to the back of the can (as opposed to scouring the internet for an amount), there is less of my namesake stimulant to go around. It is negligible however, as the kick remains at around two hours in length.
