Euphoric Energy Raspberry/Strawberry

One of the most interesting line of energy drinks I've encountered lately is the Euphoric Energy line. Each flavour has been something totally unique and different from any other energy drink out there, and to no surprise, they released a raspberry flavour. Raspberry, to me, has always been an unappreciated flavour in energy drinks, so its a great surprise to finally find one, even if it's paired with strawberry.

FIRST IMPRESSION: While the can design of Euphoric Energy has been a mixed bag, I feel that Euphoric Rasp/Straw is the best out of all of them. The dark red on the velvet-like pattern behind the still weird "e" thing really work well together, even if the name still bothers me. Overall, the can looks great and unlike Banana/Strawberry, leaves me wanting to crack open the can and chug.

TASTE:
I opened the can and the smell of Stoked After Burn filled my nose with a curtain sweetness that makes the back of your throat stiff. The flavour is best described as light strawberry that is only there briefly before it leaves your mouth completely. Its mildly sweet and goes down smoothly. There is no raspberry flavour to account for, which despite being a huge disappointment, doesn't necessarily mean the flavours bad. The flavour is actually quite good. Though I can't see the flavour winning any awards, its still a good flavour and makes a great thirst quencher.

KICK: Each can contains: 140mg of Caffeine, 1200mg of Taurine, fifty mg of Ginseng, eighty mg of Damiana, sixty mg of Maca Root Extract, and 100mg Suma Root Extract. This combination of ingredients gave me an unimpressive kick. For only about three or so hours, I had a mildly raised alertness, and mental lift. No crash though, which seems to be a a reoccurring theme with the Euphoric line.

FINAL WORD: Overall, I feel that Euphoric Energy Raspberry/Strawberry is one of the best Euphoric energy drinks so far. While the kick is a disappointment, the can and taste make up for it. The whole Euphoric line has been good to great, in terms of taste. But in the can and kick category, they tend to fail, and they tend to fail miserably. Though I can't say that I'd recommend Euphoric Energy Raspberry/Strawberry to somebody looking for a powerful drink housed in a urban can, but if your looking for a good tasting energy drink in an attractive can, give Euphoric Raspberry/Strawberry a try, hell, try it even if its full price...3.8/5

Euphoric Orange/Mango

The Euphoric Energy line has featured some of the most interesting and unique flavours I've seen in quite a while, and it seems that the trend continues with Euphoric Orange/Mango. Orange is one of the most standard flavours in energy drinks, but so is mango, so it will be fun to see how Euphoric blends the two flavours together. Most of the past Euphoric flavours have focused on one of the two flavours listed, so it will be interesting to see which flavour, whether its orange or mango, that Euphoric Orange/Mango focuses on. And yes, I'm completely ignoring my five day absence.

FIRST IMPRESSION: The can continues to use the same design that the past Euphoric drinks have used, which I feel is a bad choice. The design doesn't work well with the orange, even though the orange is rather subtle. Maybe with some redesigning, it would work, but until then, the can is overall ugly and unappealing.

TASTE: I opened the can and poured it in a glass. The colour is a cross between orange and carrot juice, maybe a little lighter. The flavour really surprised me. It starts out as mango that seems to be stitched together with some mild orange and peach flavours. The mango tastes fresh, and the orange adds tartness, which really increases the complexity of the drink. The peach isn't overwhelming, as it seems to only appear as the drink goes down my throat. Overall, though a little rough to drink because of the peach, Euphoric Orange/Mango is surprisingly good tasting.

KICK: Each can contains: 1200mg of Taurine, 140mg of caffeine, fifty mg of Ginseng, eighty mg of Damiana, sixty mg of Maca Root Extract, and 100mg Suma Root Extract. This blend of ingredients gave me a mediocre buzz that lasted around three hours or so. I only felt my alertness go up mildly and I had no jitters or twitches. Overall, the kick is identical to the kick of the other Euphoric drinks, decent.

FINAL WORD: All in all, I think that Euphoric Orange/Mango is a decent energy drink. Though the flavour is pretty interesting and rather good, the kick and can don't do it justice. I feel that the Euphoric line, as a whole, is overall under average. While all of the flavours have been enjoyable, the can, and the kick have mostly been unimpressive. I can't say I'd recommend getting Euphoric Orange Mango at full price, but if you find it at $.60, its a decent purchase...3/5

Euphoric Energy Banana/Strawberry

After people saying they miss the numbers and some people saying good riddance to the numbers, I decided to compromise with the conflicting parties. I now only have an overall score, and not individual scores. I'll consider keeping it if people like it. Anyway, back to the review. After a drought of energy drinks lately, I found one little energy drink that has been referenced several times in reviews before, but never reviewed itself. That drink is Euphoric Energy Banana/Strawberry. Now, I have reviewed a couple of energy drinks in the Euphoric Energy line, but all of them have been flavours that people automatically associate with drinks, but Euphoric Banana/Strawberry isn't. Banana/Strawberry is something I associate with disgusting candy that your grandma still has sitting in her candy jar, and not a drink. Lets just hope it will help close the gap between drinks and banana/strawberry...

FIRST IMPRESSION: Oh boy, the can, where do I began? While I thought the can was just decent when purple or green was the colour, but yellow, just wow. Its pretty disgusting looking, but hey look on the bight side, at least its eye catching. Euphoric Energy Banana/Strawberry uses the same basic energy blend seen in the other Euphoric drinks, so overall, I'm really not looking forward to drinking this.

TASTE:
I opened the can and stuck my nose into the fizz that was unleashed when I opened it. The scent reminded me of sunscreen, but maybe a little more fruit like. The taste is best described as real banana with only a small amount of sweetness, which works well in bringing out the unique flavour. There is not much strawberry, surprisingly, leaving the banana to really shine. There is no after taste and goes down quite easily. Overall, I'm... impressed. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda actually like the flavour. While bananas have never been my favorite fruits, Euphoric has somehow made a banana flavour that can be enjoyed by non-banana eaters.

KICK: The kick I got from Euphoric Banana/Strawberry was mediocre at best. Each can only contains: 1200mg of Taurine, 140mg of caffeine, 50mg of Ginseng, 80mg of Damiana, 60mg of Maca Root Extract, and 100mg Suma Root Extract. Though the kick was weak, it lasted quite a while. I assume it was because of the lack of HFCS and the use of real sugar. Ha, isn't it amazing that now a days, when a company says they use cane sugar as a sweetener, people consider it healthy, but in other country's, when a company wants to claim that there product is healthy they use the term "sugar free." Only in America.

FINAL WORD: Overall, I feel that Euphoric Energy Banana/Strawberry is a surprisingly good energy drink. While the can and kick really bring the overall score down, the flavour at least keeps it from being a complete failure. All in all, Euphoric Banana/Strawberry is a solid energy drink that sadly has a few cracks throughout. I applaud Euphoric for being a strangely appealing energy company by making bizarre flavours and appealing to the nerd in all of us...3.5/5

Euphoric Energy Lemon-Lime

Sprite, 7-Up(as I prefer), and Sierra Mist have all dominated the lemon lime soda market for years, and you'd think when the energy drink craze took over that a lemon-lime energy drink would be released soon after, but sadly, there aren't many lemon-lime energy drinks. The only lemon-lime energy drinks I've ever had/reviewed are GURU Lemon-Lime and Xenergy Clear Citrus, both of which were impressive, but the thing is that Xenergy was sugar free, but carbonated, and GURU was sugared, but non carbonated, so I have never really had a lemon-lime energy drink that's both carbonated and sugared. Because of this, I hope that Euphoric Energy Lemon-Lime won't screw up such a simple, yet underused flavour...

FIRST IMPRESSION: As you can see, I still have the Big Lots sticker on it. Must of forgot to remove it before I took the picture. I like the can. Its got this science fiction look to it, with the weird name and background, but I feel that the weird "e" like shape is out of place, reminding me more of a circus than science. I feel that the can's rather attractive, appealing to the science fiction nerd in all of us...3.9/5

TASTE: I opened the can and took a sip. The flavour's best described as mild lemon upfront, which soon fades into more of a lime flavour. The only after taste I found was a faint lemon flavour, which is probably the best aftertaste you can have. Its got some mild tartness and is not very sweet, working very well with the flavour. It goes down very smooth, almost like a soda. Overall, the flavours very good, reminding me of Sprite, but not so much 7-Up or Sierra Mist...4/5

KICK: After downing the entire can, I sat and waited for the kick to kick in. Within twenty or so minutes I began to feel more alert, and had more energy. I didn't feel like I could run a marathon, but I do feel like I had enough energy to drive to the marathon. This feeling lasted around three hours or so. Overall, the kick was pretty standard as far as energy drinks go. I feel that the kick was unimpressive because each can only contains 1200mg of Taurine, 140mg of caffeine, 50mg of Ginseng, 80mg of Damiana, 60mg of Maca Root Extract, and 100mg Suma Root Extract...3/5

FINAL WORD: All in all, I feel that Euphoric Energy Lemon-Lime wasn't just another rushed energy drink, but instead an energy drink that had some serious time spent on it. While the drink does have its high lights, its unique can and soda-like taste, the kick just doesn't do it justice. Overall, Euphoric Lemon-Lime has some legs, but sadly it never really runs. I will praise them for adding some interesting ingredients to the long list of kidney destroying chemicals I've consumed over the years, and for giving a worthy flavour justice as an energy drink...3.6/5
