Outburst Chocolate Mint Energy Bites Review

Outburst Chocolate Mint is the last in the line, and its box is as ordinary as any before it. The green does inject some pleasant colour into the design, and while the container doesn't succumb to the common case of cluttering, it certainly has very little going for it. It gets the job done, but it doesn't feel as if it wants to exclusively catch the eye from the other products that are also battling for attention.

The core to the product is chocolate, though it is cased within a pretty green layer of mint, and finally there's the expected candy lamination. The chocolate may appear in a rather meager amount, but it is enough to give the second coating a great cocoa butteriness and some appreciated relief from the almost overwhelming peppermint. The just former, though, dejectedly makes use of hydrogenated oil, which give each bite a slight cheap and greasy mouth feel. But fortunately the two flavours identified are orchestrated playfully and almost beautifully, though the use of milk chocolate instead of the common dark is baffling and quite detrimental to the experience. The robust and bitterness of dark chocolate is such a contrast to the saccharine minty filling, which is why many utilize the combination. But unfortunately for Outburst, the unintelligible decision to craft with milk chocolate, which is far sweeter and less complex, renders the confection as too sugary and near cloyingly so, although this doesn't interfere with having only four or so pieces. Overall, though it's more courageous than the Peanut variety, it doesn't taste as carefully conceived.

Each box contains: caffeine(240mg), taurine, and a few B vitamins. The kick was of the four hour variety expected, and the occasional jitter was certainly perceived. Overall, Chocolate Mint completes the Outburst trilogy, but it dismally was not able to close the line with complete satisfaction.

Outburst Chocolate Peanut Energy Bites Review

Outburst Chocolate Peanut looks almost no different from the previously reviewed Milk Chocolate variety, with the only real dissimilarity being the text describing the flavour. But this isn't much of an issue, actually, since the design really only consists of the large logo seen above, you begin to identify the line with the stylized brand name. And since the emblem leaves little room for much else, the box doesn't ever become optically empty, and you end up being more distracted with the lack of any clear indication as to what the product actually looks like rather than pondering boringly over the container's visuals.

Unsurprisingly, Outburst Chocolate Peanut resembles the popular Peanut M&M treat, and the flavour isn't far off. The orange sugar shell is remarkably thin and adds a welcome crunch before you're exposed to a thicker layer of milk chocolate. The latter is soft and smooth, and it melts divinely on the tongue, though it sadly displays the same unfortunate cheapness that plagued the previous variety and much of what labels itself as only flavoured of the such. It certainly feels good but it doesn't really taste good, but chocolate auspiciously isn't the main focus of the experience nor does it really dictate the actual flavour. Hidden inside like the aforementioned Mars made confection, there's a little peanut half that initially crunches and subsequently creams, and this dually exaggerates the initial crispiness and imbues more fattiness into the chocolate, thus intensifying its already lardaceous attribute. As a result and as a whole, Outburst Chocolate Peanut far outshines its immediate predecessor and actually tastes like what a real candy should.

One must show some strong self control if they're to keep themselves from eating the whole box, and apparently the Caffeine King lacks this sort of restraint. Punishment was dished out in the form of a solid four hour buzz that commenced quickly but ended calmly. Each box contains: 240mg of caffeine, a few B vitamins, and taurine. Overall, Outburst Chocolate Peanut stands proudly on both feet, where as its sibling could only timorously balance on one leg.

Outburst Milk Chocolate Energy Bites Review

Outburst Milk Chocolate's initial uniqueness is found with the self labeling as an energy bite, which isn't something that's seen everyday let alone experienced. The sure-to-be-little candies are contained in a black box that's absent of many visuals, though since the hearty logo doesn't bore the eyes, the graphic deficiency isn't audacious.

Each individual bite isn't soft like anticipated, and instead the spherical candies are hard and fairly crispy, much like the famed Crunch or the ill fated Krackel bar. The confection melts easily and cleanly, and the solid confiture soon softens to a buttery consistency with no sort of oily texture or mouth feel. The sweetmeat is actually chocolate rather than simply flavoured of the such, though the quality of the cocoa confectionery isn't as laudable as something out of Germany, and instead is comparable to the such bought at discount stores. Don't fall under the impression that it is a compound chocolate, to which Outburst tastes far better than, but it should be noted that caliber isn't anywhere near as high as what this taster is used to. The most commendable aspect could be the vacancy of bitterness, but this technically isn't too surprising given that each ball only contains a small twenty milligrams of caffeine. But while the antecedent isn't detectable, there is an unpleasant earthy pungency that's mild but ever so destructive to the overall enjoyment. It never overwhelms the consumer and chocolate always remains the dominating flavour, but sadly there is certainly more sacrifice to an already cheap tasting experience.

Perhaps I was a bit too hard on the flavour, as it was definitely difficult not to eat the entire box, which in turn provides an impressive 240 mg of caffeine, and although taurine and a few B vitamins also appear, their presence is not nearly as appreciated. The kick lasted four hours, with minor jitters and a slight crash. In the end, Outburst Milk Chocolate was the first time something of the such was encountered, which does permit some faults to be forgiven that wouldn't otherwise be overlooked.
