Bing Crisp Energy Drink Review

After the svelte black can of their last variety, Bing Crisp is a lot more kid-friendly, though that is not what you want your energy drink to be. Still, the can is a marginal improvement over the original can, visible if you know how to Google Image search, but text today remains a tad too high.

The apple and cherry here are like the characters in a buddy-cop movie who have chemistry; they play off of one another and never let the other become the star of the experience. Granny Smith and McIntosh are what my palate detect, their saccharinity in wonderful contrast to the curt sourness the stone fruit introduces. There is only five percent actual juice but your tongue calls your eyes a liar, with a weight and heft rivaled only by the flesh of the actual fruits. Sweetness comes from cane sugar, sucralose and the nectar itself, but there is only eight grams of the stuff, with any potentially nasty aftertaste lost deep below the pungent acidity; the equally persuasive effervescence is another helpful distraction.

Each can contains: B vitamins, vitamin C, ginseng, guarana, and 100 milligrams of caffeine. Buzz has never been what Bing does best, but the kick is your average two hour long one, usual for a twelve ounce potable. On the whole, Bing Crisp is a visually perfunctory exercise in flavor over functionality.

Bing Black Energy Drink Review

Thank you local hipster grocery store, I have been looking for the phenomenal Bing's black brother for many years now. Its can is a silky black, ample red text text popping off of the background darkness. Not everything is paradise however, as there is a lot of text that drifts the can out from its sophistication and leaves you reading when you should be drinking.

The can crackles as it is cracked open, unleashing a deep, robust scent that would work in a pinch as an air freshener. First sip engulfs your palate with the sharp flavors of both blackberry and cherry, a simple five percentage of juice acting as if it was followed by a zero. Every sip is powerful, a blast of concentrated, coltish, fruity pleasure, the former of the two tastes adding a fluffy texture with its minor edge of tartness. The latter of the dyad adding an immense depth to the outer rim of every imbibe, a controlled eruption of dense complexity that collapses as you finalize each sip. You take your second gulp only to notice the lovely liquid has been washed off of your tongue, and that each succeeding swig feels like your first, a real Groundhog-day experience. Sweetness is achieved from cane sugar and sucralose, and they do a fine job here, exercising a believable weight for a drink with only forty calories. Carbonation also deserves an introduction, a hardly conspicuous effervescence that I cannot imagine the twelve ounces without.

Each can contains: caffeine (120 milligrams), ginseng, guarana, acai, flax seed, vitamin C, B vitamins, among others. The kick is the weakest link, easily, but the rest of the beverage make it worth visiting, even just once and even just for its flavor.

Bing Energy Drink Review

Bing is an unashamed cherry focused energy drink, with a pleasant red colour and two cherries prominently displayed on the can. The product even contains the actual juice of the fruit, and while the sexy style of the design is generally enjoyable, I can't help but dislike the unnecessarily paragraph smack dab in the middle. It feels almost like a press release, with the self absorbed comment on being delicious, and if the writing is absolutely needed, then it only deserves to be seen on the back.

Though the claim of being delicious was just previously criticized, after tasting it I'd honestly agree. The flavour is heavy on cherry, and the authenticity declared is extolling and staggeringly sensual. The sweetness, though being part artificial and part actual sugar, is done with such skill that it tastes wholly authentic and not the least bit synthetic. There's an enjoyable tartness that's strongly prevalent, but it's maturely controlled and prevented from debasing the overall sophistication. There's a weaker sourness that also avoids reducing the flavour into something out of a kids candy shop, and this and the prior give the cherry a richly robust depth and complexity. Each sip has immense dimension but what's really impressive is the stubborn focus on the single fruit; something that hasn't been so evinced since the much admired NOS Cherry, however Bing does has a slight red grape suggestion. The indirect flavour only emerges briefly and it appears below the main fruit, and it gives the experience a bit of relief from as well as even more intricacy to the cherry. Overall, whether or not Bing tastes better than any with a such a flavour is debatable, but it's a meritorious flavour regardless.

Each twelve ounce can contains: taurine, caffeine(120mg), ginseng, guarana, several B vitamins, and vitamin C. The buzz was of standard strength, and it lasted around two hours. All in all, if you should run across Bing selling for a buck and some change, then a purchase is well worth the money.
