Twinlab Energy Fuel Review

For such a tiny can, Twinlab Energy Fuel is unnecessarily expensive at $1.99. The price could possibly of been justified if the design was any less stock or busy, but I feel the best way they could have increased visual value was to of increased the size. The colouring is mostly of a yellow center that's surrounded by edges of orange, and the two much create an odd morning sun-like feel, which would have been more appropriate if the flavour was orange and not "fruit splash." I remarked that clutter was an issue, and an example of pointless text can be observed right in the latter of the name, "Energy Fuel," which is rather redundant when you think about it.

Twinlab Energy Fuel's flavour is of several separate tastes, though they're muddled blandly, thus singular detection is difficult. Lemon, ginger, lime, melon, and pear are among the strongest I could distinguish, with their order corresponding to their respected strengths. The lack of real sugar, unfortunately though, hollows any potential realism and since none of the flavours attempt to obtain either a realistic or a candied characteristic, they just end up sitting on the tongue without any knowledge as to what they're intended to do. Lemon appears to be the backbone for the others to rest upon, although its initial tasting is when it's most noticeable. It displays a faint sour quality, and though the sourness grows as everything progresses, it never becomes firm enough to properly suit the yellow fruit. The ginger taste is enjoyably present as I did not expect it, and it soon feels entirely at home with the encircling fruits. It pinches the flavour just after the fluid is first tasted and it dissipates slowly once after. The lime is vague and is easily missed as it is tasted conterminous to the lemon, however this doesn't instill much intricacy into the flavour or into the individual fruit. Both the pear and the melon are decidedly the weakest to be descried, and the disinterest in evolving or focusing on the two aid in my criticism of overall vapidity, which is the beverage's main problem concerning taste.

Twinlab Energy didn't convey much of the latter, which was expected. I felt energized for only around an hour, and there were no jitters. Each can contains: guarana, taurine, ginseng, caffeine, multiple B vitamins, and ginkgo. Overall, Twinlab Energy Fuel is both unstimulating and unoffensive, which isn't surprising or disappointing.
