Iron Energy Drink Review

Today boxing great Mike Tyson brings us an energy drink, Iron Energy is what it is called. Problems arise quickly, from its laughably small size (come on, it is 2019, sixteen ounces is the standard), to the unexplainably large declaration "serve chilled," this is far from the perfect looking energy drink.

The can claims the flavor is "tutti fruity," but my tongue disagrees; this is full-blown Red Bull, although unlike most clones, the use of real sugar and not corn syrup gives sips a biting, toothsome texture that helps Iron find some personality. Sips are acidic, loaded with tastes of granny smith apple, vanilla, and bubble gum, a most "classic" tasting energy drink. Its pacing is fairly mundane, but all the familiar pieces are handled with some grace- I won't go as far as to recommend picking up a can, it ran me an outrageous $3.99(!), but with a gun to your head and nothing but Red Bull clones to consume, you can do a lot worse.

Each can contains: taurine, caffeine, and B vitamins, a disappointingly sterile blend that does not even disclose the caffeine content! The buzz is wholly disinteresting, lasting an hour, although there is not a jitter or a crash as a result. Overall, Iron Energy is about as generic as energy drinks come, but it executes some major beats quite well.

I work at a Grocery Outlet store. And we just got these in, and we’re selling them for 3/$1.00 which is amazing! Especially after reading that you paid $3.99 for one. We have the classic/original flavor, and the mojito flavored ones. And they are both alright in taste. They do remind me a lot of a Red Bull. I’m going to go ahead and stock the heck up on a case or two now after hearing what they cost elsewhere.
