Rockstar Tropical Citrus Energy Water Review

Familiarity sets in at first glance, Rockstar playing it incredibly safe with their energy water entry. The bottle is what it should be, or at least what the company feels consumers think it should be, a very Vitaminwater-esque packaging that is so wrongly inspired that you will initially mistake this for Glaceau's latest hardly healthy drink.

Muted notes of undistinguished citrus struggle to break through the experience's overpowered watery characteristic. It is all you can taste; there is nothing tropical about the diluted tastes of lemon, mango, passion fruit and lime, if those are what are present and there is probably a few more. But who cares? Those looking for refreshment this summer will be drinking lemonade, and those looking for it at the gym will be drinking water, as in without "energy" in front. This is as arid as they come, interminably dull simply out of stereotype rather than purposefulness. Unnatural sugars distract from the beverage's botched ambitions, although there is a pretty good tartness buried under all the monotony.

There have been buzzes more potent, as 200 milligrams of caffeine is not too much for a twenty ounce drink. Each bottle also contains: taurine, B vitamins, ginseng, and guarana. In the end, this energy water will be bought once, but then never again.
