While amp Juice Orange failed to thoroughly impress me, I have hopes for the next flavour, Mixed Berry. Its bottle, while virtually identical to its predecessor, looks quite good. The pinkish-reddish-purplish colour scheme is appealing, though unusual, especially for a juice. But that aside, Mixed Berry's use of the design is better than Orange's.
amp Juice Berry's taste is more of what someone would expect from an orange juice then a berry juice. It's initially a subtle orange on top of a slightly grainy white grape and apple base. They all tasted natural and none of them were tart. Trailing closely behind is an artificial raspberry that's so light in strength it raises the question why the flavour label is "Mixed Berry." There's a slight pear note near the beginning of the raspberry, but it's a bit too faint to gain notice. The overall experience is fairly sweet for a juice, and that may turn some people off. There's a prominent pulpiness to Mixed Berry's body, which partially counters the slightly unnatural level of sweetness. Overall, though mislabeled, I found amp Juice Berry's flavour to be better and more balanced than Orange's.
Since amp Mixed Berry's energy formulation is identical to amp Orange, the kick was more or less the same. I had a pretty good amount of energy, and the end came after about two and a half hours. Each bottle contains: vitamin C, caffeine(120mg) several B vitamins, ginseng, vitamin E and guarana. In the end, while amp Juice Mixed Berry isn't powerful enough to replace your mourning coffee, nor does it taste good enough to replace your morning juice, it may be better than mixing the two yourself.
