Starbucks Refreshers Strawberry Lemonade Energy Drink Review

Starbucks Refreshers Strawberry Lemonade's pink certainly looks good, even with the bare silver of the base, but drinkers will probably not accept it. They definitely will not accept the confusing clutter, nor will they forgive the beclouding green coffee bean gimmick, and neither can I, either as a critic or consumer.

There is not much strawberry or lemonade noticeable, at least nothing balanced or complex. Instead we get two incomplete flavours, simple like candy but too inadequately saccharine to be so. We can thank erythritol for the stinted sugariness, the lone sweetener who crumbles in combat to the herbal finish. Fortunately they are rather lively fruits, thanks to the zesty effervescence, with each mouthful sparkling cautiously and calming as it washes down your throat. Overall, it is a painless experience, an unmemorable and instantly forgettable one.

Each can contains: ginseng, caffeine(fifty milligrams), and B vitamins. The buzz was embarrassingly weak, worthlessly impotent and lasting less than an hour. In the end, with such a low caffeine content, my addition will not let me continue my day without cracking open something stronger.
